My
studio consists of an 18' X 22' room with an entry way and a 14' X 20'
waiting
area with a bathroom. Our driveway
is paved and has designated parking places
for students to park. There is
a table for homework, along with toys and games for
those waiting for brother or sister.
A computer workstation has been placedin the entry way
for students to do music theory,
history, and composition before or after theirlessons.
The studio itself has my Mason
& Hamlin grand piano,
a Kurzweil 2600X digital keyboard
and a Casio keyboard used mostly for its rhythms,
recording equipment, another computer
lab.. The room has been acoustically treated
and looks out over a panoramic
view of the White Mountains,
including the majestic Mount Washington.

Schoeps mics for professional recording and student
recording:
When students finish a piece that they are working
on, we professionally record it
onto their very own cassette. When the
cassette is filled, I transfer it to CD and they take it home!
