The View From Home

 

1. A Golden Summer Day 

You are asleep and are gently awakened by the call of a Bobolink.  You rise and have a beautiful day ahead of you to spend in any way you like!  The piece ends with a Robin’s call in the evening.

 

1. Thunder Shower  

The day is humid and very hot (shouldn’t be too difficult to imagine this lately!). Everyone is moving in slow motion.  There isn’t a breath of air stirring anywhere.  Suddenly, a breeze begins to stir.  Soon, a drop of rain falls here and there.  Then pouring rain, thunder and lightning.  It quickly passes and the air is now fresh and clean.

 

1. Autumn Colors

It is a cool fall day.  The skies are clear blue and the sun is brilliant.  The leaves are many colors.  Imagine the taste of a fresh apple as you are taking a scenic drive through the beautiful mountains!

 

1. Snowstorm  

The sky is gray and the air is cold and moist.  Soon, you see one, no two, no three snowflakes gently falling.  The snow begins to fall in a light but steady manner.  It becomes heavier and heavier.  The wind begins to howl and the snowstorm has become a blizzard!

 

1. The View From Home

I like to think of this as not only a view of our mountains, but of our view from our home in heaven one day, since heaven is our real home.  God made earth so beautiful and we are privileged to live in a beautiful place.  What will heaven be like?  Amazing!  As you listen picture a scene of majestic grandeur.
